Welcome to Civic Center TV!

CVTV is a municipal cable channel serving the communities of West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake, and Orchard Lake in the state of Michigan. In cooperation with the Greater West Bloomfield Cable Communications Commission, CVTV has been on the air as an important civic utility since the coverage of its first meeting in 1989.

In addition to the live cablecast of town meetings, other services found on the channel include bulletin board delivery of helpful information, video coverage of significant events, on the town reporting with Civic Center News, and other original programming that aims to be both interesting and informative.

An example of such programming is West Bloomfield 911—a fresh and candid look into police life, or Eye on Fire, which explores potentially life-saving issues from the perspective of the fire department. Then there are historical programs, such as Generations, that visit our area amid various stages of its development and rich past. It is our belief that diverse programming is the only way to truly serve a community as diverse as the one in which we live.

Civic Center Media, LLC is the company contracted to manage CVTV. Chris Milia, executive producer of the company, has built his strong experience in cable television for over 24 years—beginning with his involvement with the actual introduction of cable to West Bloomfield Township in 1984. Under Milia, Civic Center Media functions creatively and efficiently at the hands of his committed and seasoned staff.
