On December 12, 2011, the West Bloomfield School Board and the Greater West Bloomfield Cable Communication Commission finalized an agreement for CVTV to provide management services for the District cable channel WBTV19. Under the agreement, CVTV will produce coverage of School Board meetings and major district events such as Graduation Ceremonies.
CVTV will also coordinate the scheduling and playback of programming produced by schools in the district. For these services, CVTV will convert the current Green Media Center into a production facility for the operation of CVTV and WBTV.

In October of 2010, The West Bloomfield Fire Department responded, like they do every day, to a 911 call from the Plum Market at Maple and Orchard Lake Road. Seeing this call as a “learning moment”, Captain Greg Flynn of the WB Fire Dept. called Civic Center TV with the idea of producing a reenactment of this heart attack. In the Spring of this year CVTV started production of the idea.
The project “A Life Saved at Plum Market” is now being cablecast on CVTV and this website. This 16 minute program traces the event from the attack through patient recovery.
Enjoy and take heed of the patient’s ordeal and how the rapid response of a Plum Market employee knowing the basic of CPR saved a life at Plum Market.

In the recent weeks, Civic Center TV (CVTV) continues its record of providing coverage of Local Candidate forums. With the League of Women Voters – West Oakland, CVTV produced and continues to cablecast and webcast this coverage. For cablecast times, please visit www.civiccentertv.com and check the program guide. Also, on the website, the forums are available for on-demand viewing.

The Friday, 8/12 edition of the West Bloomfield PATCH covers CVTV working with the West Bloomfield Fire Department to produce a documentary. The documentary covers the Fire Department response and follow up to a resident stricken with a heart attack at the Plum Market.
