CVTV covers the 2012 JCC Book Fair

CVTV is proud to present video coverage of the 2012 Jewish Community Center (JCC) Book Fair that concluded on November 18. Click the On-Demand tab, and then, CVTV Presents for Book Fair shows.

During the week and a half of author book talks, CVTV cameras videotaped 10 sessions in the Berman Center for the Performing Arts and Handleman Hall on the West Bloomfield Campus.

The closing session, featured former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright presenting her book “Prague Winter: A Personal Story of Remembrance and War”.

Other presenters included:

Ken Segall – A colleague of Steve Jobs recalling his time with Apple in  “Insanely Simple: The Obsession That Drives Apple’s Success”.

Steve Guttenberg, – star of the “Police Academy” films discussing “The Guttenberg Bible”.

CVTV cablecasting starts on Saturday, November 30. The first program features the Music Director of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Leonard Slatkin and his book “Conducting Business: Unveiling the Mystery Behind the Maestro”.

On-Demand viewing of the Comedy Cafe – “The Last Testament: A Memoir by God” as told by David Javerbaum is now available at www.civiccentertv.com. Mr. Javerbaum is a former writer for The Daily Show with John Stewart.
